The Field workspace for crews

Crew members land in a focused, mobile-friendly Field workspace built for the jobsite. They see the day's schedule and their assigned jobs — and no financial details (crew are money-blind by design).

Log time, materials, and the day's work
  1. 1Open the job in Field and add a Time entry for hours worked.
  2. 2Add a Material log for what got used on site.
  3. 3Add a Daily log to capture conditions and progress — with a one-tap weather stamp and crew count — and snap jobsite Photos.
  4. 4Photos stay internal unless you tap the eye to share one to the customer's portal.
  5. 5Need to flag added work? Add Punch list items right from the field.
Report a safety incident
  1. 1In the job's Field workspace, open Incidents and record what happened.
  2. 2Capture the details and any photos so there's a clear, timestamped record.
Track budget vs. actual (job costing)

The project's costing view rolls up every cost — labor time, materials, subs, permits, and manual entries — against your estimate, so you see margin erosion before it's a problem.

  1. 1Open the project and go to the Costing tab.
  2. 2Compare Budget vs. Actual by category, with each line's percent of budget.
  3. 3Watch the actual margin update as real costs come in.
  4. 4Add a Manual cost entry for anything that isn't captured automatically (a one-off fee, a cash purchase).
